A Glimpse at Part of What Your Gifts to CJFM Do

Thanks to all of you who support CJFM with your prayers and your financial support.

Here is an excerpt from a card that we received.

“I am here in prison, given the opportunity to reconnect with God.  Another inmate is witnessing my struggle with understanding, and forwards me an address.

I wait several months because, frankly, I am not too confident in the Messianic movement, as it is nearly as fractured as some Christian sects.

But I finally write and I receive a very supporting and warm response.

I have no family on the streets and no friends outside these walls, so my correspondences are limited to a few trusted religious organizations.  Mr. Turner is the only one of these correspondents that has given a personal touch to those letters, and has become a friend, not just a mentor.

A month ago a random inmate gives me this Hanukkah card and I was excited until I realized I didn’t really have anyone to give this to.  But then I remembered Mr. Turner, someone that I would like to wish a happy Hanukkah with him, his family, all the folks at CJFM, and Mr. Turner’s congregation!

And now I can be happy again, recognizing that God has provided me with new friends, and quality ones at that!”

The card is signed by “TM,” one of the prisoners that CJFM ministers to.

Thanks to your generous contributions and never-ceasing prayers, CJFM is able to bring hope, salvation, instruction, and even friendship and a sense of family to those who have no one.

“TM” is just one of 80 to 100 prisoners that we minister to on a weekly basis.

CJFM could not do it without you.

Thanks.
