Smart or Wise?

Some people excel in the knowledge of the sciences, the arts, technology, etc.

These people are smart.

Others excel in knowledge that transcends the classroom and the textbook.  These master the revelations of scripture.

They interact with wisdom.  (See Deuteronomy 4:5,6.)

These people are wise.

A rare group of people are composed of a mixture of both.

An even larger group of people are depleted of both.

That might explain why I am so caught up in numbers.

It is a good idea to ask God for wisdom each day. It might lower the number of those who are depleted.
