A PDF version of these terms and conditions is available here.

RESERVATIONS AND DEPOSIT

CJF Ministries requires that all tour participants secure their reservations by making a nonrefundable $500 deposit, payable to their official tour operator, CJF Ministries. All deposits must be accompanied by a completed application, a signed waiver, and a photocopy of the inside page of a valid passport, and mailed to:
CJF Ministries
611 Broadway
San Antonio, TX 78215

TOUR PARTICIPATION
Every tour participant must be in possession of a current passport (be sure to check the expiration date). Vaccinations of any kind are not required by law. No visa is required of US citizens for entry into Israel. A group visa will be obtained for entry into Jordan. Final payments to CJF Ministries are required of all participants sixty (60) days prior to departure and may be made by check, money orders, or credit cards. Payment arrangements can be made by calling (800) 926-5397.

INSURANCE
A $45 per person predeparture trip cancellation policy is available from CJF Ministries and must be paid with the initial $500 deposit. This policy applies only when cancellation results from a medical condition, as documented by an attending physician, and must be submitted in writing on the doctor’s letterhead. Payment for this policy is nonrefundable and due at the time of registration. We strongly recommend that each participant take advantage of CJF Ministries’ basic policy to guarantee protection in the event of a medical problem. Anyone who chooses to decline this coverage must indicate it on the waiver. For anyone desiring additional coverage, policies are available commercially from the many companies that cover trip cancellation, baggage delay, medical expenses, emergency medical evacuation, accidents, and other contingencies. The largest provider of travel and tour coverage is AIG TravelGuard [(800) 826-4919, or visit them online at www.travelguard.com].

CANCELLATIONS
Tour participants are subject to the following cancellation penalties, as stated below, if they cancel their reservations following final payment:
Sixty (60) days to forty-five (45) days prior to departure: $100 plus airfare and deposit.
Forty-four (44) days to thirty (30) days prior to departure: $250 plus airfare and deposit.
Twenty-nine (29) days to fifteen (15) days prior to departure: $500 plus airfare and deposit.
Fourteen (14) days to one (1) day prior to departure: 50% of tour cost plus airfare.
No-show on day of departure: one hundred percent of tour cost.

While airfare is generally nonrefundable, it may be reusable toward future travel. Typically, airlines charge a service fee plus any fare difference at time of reissue. CJF Ministries will make every effort to assist in this process but cannot guarantee credit for airfare in the event of trip cancellation. Again, participants may purchase a policy from a company like AIG TravelGuard to provide further coverage beyond the basic policy available from CJF Ministries (as previously described).

GENERAL INFORMATION
The CJF Ministries package price includes all taxes, fees, visas, and gratuities. It does not include lunches, passport fees, drinks, laundry, and other items of a personal nature. Accepting substitute participants for those who cancel will be at the discretion of CJF Ministries and based on airline ticketing considerations.

CJF Ministries reserves the right to decline to accept or to decline to retain any person as a member of any tour should such person’s health, actions, or general deportment impede the operation of the tour or the rights or welfare or enjoyment of other participants. CJF Ministries reserves the right to cancel or change itineraries, or to substitute services without notice.
