Danny Danon is Israel's ambassador to the United Nations. Here's his powerful defense of Israel’s right to the Land. He starts with the Bible, then moves on to history, international law, and even Palestinians’ own admission of Israel’s right to exist—all in less than 20 minutes. Powerful stuff, folks. As anyone watching the news can observe, the situation in Gaza is tragic. However, what one will likely not learn from their favorite news outlet is that these terrible images showing the deaths of women and children is the intentional aim of Hamas.
As Mosab Hassan Yousef, son of one of Hamas’ co-founders, Sheikh Hassan Yousef, stated in a recent CNN interview, “Hamas does not care about the lives of Palestinians, does not care about the lives of Israelis or Americans; they don’t care about their own lives; they consider dying for the sake of their ideology a way of worship” (July 24 2014, CNN Interview).
Further, it goes unreported that Hamas encourages Gazans not to leave areas where the IDF issues pre-warnings of attacks on missile-launching stations and weapons facilities which are often hidden in or beneath schools, private homes, and mosques. Rather, Hamas wants the world to believe that Israel is the aggressor in mercilessly attacking innocent civilians—and this propaganda is being puppeted almost everywhere. Most sources will not report that Hamas deprives Gazans of medical treatment offered by Israel and has even refused Israel's and Egypt's humanitarian assistance offering food for Gaza—all this while journalists are threatened not to report on Hamas' use of human shields. The real siege on the people of Gaza is the one that has been forced on them by Hamas (July 31, 2014, Honest Reporting).
Operation Protective Edge (Mivtza Tzuk Eitan, popularly understood as "Operation Mighty Cliff") began as a defensive measure after a series of events that included "the collapse of American-sponsored peace talks, attempts by rival Palestinian factions to form a coalition government, the kidnapping and murder of three Israeli teenagers, the subsequent kidnapping and murder of a Palestinian teenager, construction by Hamas militants of warfare tunnels enabling militants to attack deep within Israeli territory and increased rocket attacks on Israel by Hamas militants in response to an extensive crackdown by Israeli troops on Hamas in the West Bank" ("2014 Israel–Gaza conflict").
When media outlets and governmental bodies spend countless hours denouncing Israel's defensive measures to eliminate Hamas' threats but show minimal outrage over the numerous public executions by Islamic militants in Syria and Iraq, it becomes clearer to see the motivation: anti-Semitism rebranded as mere anti-Israelism. Where is the outrage over the heinous behavior of the ever-growing Islamic State, which has recently warned the Christians of Iraq to convert to Islam, pay the dhimma tax, or die? (July 18, 2014, The Guardian). Where is the outrage over Hamas' terrorizing of innocent Israelis and torturing of Palestinians who do not support their regime? ("Hamas Terrorism: 101"). Israel, like peace-loving Palestinians or the Christians of Iraq, needs your voice of support as well as your prayers for peace.
As a family that spends its summer months in Israel, we are grateful for the Israeli government's strong response to Hamas' targeting of civilian population centers like Ashdod, Beersheba, Eilat, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Our children and their friends have learned well the sound of the Code Red Alert (tzeva adom), and we are thankful for the success of the Iron Dome (kippat barzel). Of course, our confidence and hope is in the true Keeper of Israel who neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:4).

CJFM’s broadcast “Messianic Perspectives” can now be heard on Radio Agape, a new Internet media outreach by Israel College of the Bible (ICB) in Netanya, Israel.
ICB has partnered with New Hope Radio Ministries, Inc. in Tulsa, Oklahoma to create Radio Agape—an ICB Messianic Media Network that will “proclaim the Word of God over radio, TV, and the new social media to Jewish people and the Messianic community worldwide.” Radio Agape’s round-the-clock programming will reach Israel, the Middle East, and the Diaspora worldwide via the Internet (www.agape.fm); the United States, Canada, and Central America can also hear the broadcasts via Galaxy 19 satellite.
CJFM’s “Messianic Perspectives” broadcast will be one of many 15-, 30-, and 45-minute messages to be broadcast regularly. Radio Agape’s broadcast schedule calls for a variety of programs to be transmitted in Hebrew, Russian, Arabic, and of course, English. We pray that God will use this medium to bring the Gospel to the Jewish people, counter growing anti-Semitism, and offer encouragement to the persecuted believing Jewish community worldwide.

Have you ever booked a hotel room online? Purchased an airline ticket? How about paid your mortgage or even filled a prescription online? If you have, you probably submitted your email address at some point during the transaction.
I conduct a lot of business online. I pay my bills, book travel, manage subscriptions, look at my bank statements, and submit my taxes—all online. My email address is a part of every transaction—either as a point of contact, used as my username, or both.
Why is any of this important?
Many major US companies outsource their online marketing and communications to a company called Epsilon. In fact, experts are saying that if you've ever given your email address out to any major US company, Epsilon probably has it. However, last weekend Epsilon's email servers were compromised, or hacked.
As far as anyone knows (or is saying) the only information that the hackers had access to is your email address—paired with the company that used your email address. I've received notices from several companies (i.e. Target, Home Depot, Hilton) that report the hackers either had access to my name, or that they didn't. They all say that credit card and other personally identifiable information (i.e. social security numbers, drivers license numbers, etc.) aren't involved.
Should we worry?
The key word is vigilance. While Epsilon and all the companies it does business with are saying that none of your usernames, passwords, Social Security numbers, or account numbers have been compromised, you can bet that the people who stole your email address will stop at nothing to try and get that information from you.
How could they do that?
The experts are already seeing a rise in the number of "phishing" attacks. These attacks are messages sent to your compromised email address that are designed to look exactly like messages you could receive from your favorite retailer, bank, or travel company. The difference is that the message is cunningly designed to extract information from you.
Below is a list of resources you can use to find out exactly what phishing is, the scope of this attack, and what you need to look for.
If you have any questions about an email you've received, feel free to contact me and I would be glad to help.

“HE WILL BE VERY GRACIOUS UNTO THEE AT THE VOICE OF THY CRY; WHEN HE SHALL HEAR IT, HE WILL ANSWER THEE” (ISAIAH 30:19).
May we look at this scripture and see what it says. Thy God, thy Savior, thy Jesus, knows thy voice, hears thy cry, and will assuredly answer. He will not only be gracious, but very gracious.
He waits to be gracious; waits for the most suited time, the best time, the praying time, and the crying time; for He times His grace, His mercy, to our need. And though we know it not, yet so it is; when His time is near at hand, which is always the best time, He puts a cry in our heart; so that the time of our cry, and the time for the manifestation of His glory, shall come together.
May we see such a truth that Jesus will be very gracious to His people? Faith, well-grounded faith in Jesus, should always bring down general rules to particular cases and circumstances, as the soul’s experience may require.
We do not always know what is good for us. Too much candy can make us sick. But trusting in Him and not leaning on our own understanding will reveal God’s faithfulness and truth and becomes the believer’s shield and buckler.
May we think on these things!
